the snom function keys should be supported in the sipx GUI. The only reason the original snom sipx developer (Michal B.) didn't do so was because he couldn't "find a way to add strings to a setting conditionally". Douglas has suggested that this is now an easier task: "With work Damian did for Audiocodes to support arrays of settings, this becomes a lot easier."

Damian suggested that we should add speed dial support via the speed dial interface in the sipx 3.8 GUI. Good point. However, the snom function keys do a lot more than speed dial:

At least some of these work without any new support in the sipxchange SIP server. Therefore, we should provide an interface for the function keys themselves.
