This bug is submitted on behalf of Anushree Ganguly
Precondition:
1. Add a Grandstream GXP-2000 phone.
2. Go to Device -->Network Parameter and add a new DNS parameter with the following entries:-
Name : D1
Address : 78.45.10.1
Steps to reproduce:
1.Navigate Phones --> click on to the Grandstream GXP -2000 ---> Network tab
Expected Response:
The DNS server address specified in Network Parameters should get reflected in the DNS server field.
Actual Result:
The DNS server address specified in Network Parameters is not getting reflected in the DNS server field and is set to blank.
Observations:
Similar issue is also seen with the Syslog Parameters as Syslog parameter is also doesnot get reflected in the following -
i) Phones--> Grandstream GXP -2000(added phone)-->Network -->Syslog Server
ii) Phones --> Snom-320(added phone) -->Advanced Networks -->Syslog Server

It's not a good idea to set DNS if DHCP is enabled though. If we do that it should be implemented conditionally - only if DNS is not set.
