 Description  « Hide
The Audiocodes Gatway Plug & Play currently hard-codes the "Phone Number" value to 201 for FXO, and uses a non-flexible formula for Digital.

This may cause confusion if the system has an extension that matches this value, and the gateway attempts to use it. The MP-114 uses it if the analog line does not have CLID. For me, it appeared that I was being called by extension 201 (which did exist) when in fact I was receiving a call through the MP-114.

The implementation of XCF-692 will automatically set-up the correct value based on the current Dial Plan. But in the meantime... The improvement request is that the value be configurable from the GUI. (Under "Advanced" would probably be best.)

Also, "201" is the second username handed out in a sipXecs default Dial Plan. Perhaps "102" would be a better default value?

Also, the values can be found in: sipXconfig/neoconf/etc/audiocodes/gateway.ini.vm

I thought it was configurable: when you add ports you can configure extension number and sipXconfig will use 'operator' by default, which is a default autoattendant alias.
Are you saying this does not work?

Sorry: Paul means "From" value. Not the value to which call is forwarded.
