The bug is being submited on behalf of Sathya Shankar
The sipXphone could not be set to factory defaults. Even though the phone restarts after trying to set it to factory defaults, the configuration, user settings etc., remain the same as before.
The log file read:
?2005-02-21T08:51:25.986000Z":15:KERNEL:ERR:qandesk1::00000000:00-90-4B-2E-3D-E0:"Unable to delete file: app-config_incoming from directory \\"
"2005-02-21T08:51:25.976000Z":14:KERNEL:ERR:qandesk1::00000000:00-90-4B-2E-3D-E0:"Unable to delete file: user-config_incoming from directory \\"
"2005-02-21T08:51:25.966000Z":13:KERNEL:ERR:qandesk1::00000000:00-90-4B-2E-3D-E0:"Unable to delete file: pinger-config_incoming from directory \\"
Taking a tip from the above lines, I put a copy of the user-config file in the root directory (C:\) and then set the phone to factory defaults. The user-config file in the root directory was getting deleted and the actual config file (...\meta\user-config) *was not*.
