Preconditions:
Register a Polycom(3.0 firmware) phone to the configserver.

Steps to follow:
1. Navigate to Polycom phone>> Voice/Codecs>> Codec Preference Order.
2. Set the following parameters as given:
     G711Mu : 2
     G711A : 3
     G729AB : 1
3. Save the changes and send profile for the register Polycom phone.

Expected result: The changes made in configserver should be reflected in the webUI of the phone and also in the tftp root directory.

Actual response: The webUI of the phone does not display the changed parameters, but the changes made is reflected in the tftp directory as
voice.codecPref.G711Mu="2" voice.codecPref.G711A="3" voice.codecPref.G729AB="1"

You need to determine if they are reflected in the profile that sipXconfig generates. If they are and phone UI does not show them open a Polycom issue (XTRN)

This issue has been cross verified with PolycomIP301, IP501 and IP601 models (where all the phones upgraded to 3.0 firmware) and observed that the issue exists only in Polycom IP301. Where as the tftp root directory for all the models show as:

voice.codecPref.G711Mu="2" voice.codecPref.G711A="3" voice.codecPref.G729AB="1"

Verified the above issue on the following build for the Polycom 650,600,500 and 300 models with the firmware version 3.1.0.0084.

The issue is found be existing only for Polycom 300 model.

The changes made for "Codec Preference Order" from the config Ui are getting reflected in tftfproot but fails to get reflected in Web UI.

Could you please re-test with the latest Polycom firmware and against the latest sane SCS500 2.5 build:Please close those issues that no longer exist and assign the others to Paul Mossman

This is config issue and will not be addressed for Polycom 300 sets.
