After upgrade scstrial.ca to 4.1.7-018258. search users via the search box at the right corner does not work for some users. For example, if search Huijun, it worked, but if search Raymond, it did not. From the initial investigation, it seems that the Lucene index was not updated for some users, which caused the search failed eventually. As the log does not indicate any relevant error, removed the log files from the snapshot. The question is how it could result in to this stage.

    WORKAROUND:
In stead of using the search box at the right corner, use the filter/search in the Users Table.

Normally, the reason that index is not up to date is if to bypass the Hibernate, which in turn bypass IndexingInterceptor and inject data directly to database. However, in the case of upgrade, as part of firt-run task, the index is dropped, then when the system starts up, it is automatically rebuilt. Not sure why it only does not for some users. Will need to look into it further.

I am unable to reproduce the issue. IMO, we probably should try to get XX-8057 into 4.1.7.

See XX-8488 and http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-dev/msg23452.html . This error is common, doesn't seem to be upgrade ralated, and needs to be fixed.
